The TNA1205-PS sets new standards in performance for fire, police, and other public safety use, incorporating a choice of Intel Pentium III 500 MHz or 700 MHz processors with 64/128/256 MB SODIMM RAM memory, SVGA (800x600) 12.1" diagonal display, and resistive touch screen. Unlike competing products that are simply designed for rugged use, the flat-panel TNA1205-PS has actually been tested for compliance with the toughest military and industrial standards including MILSPEC 810E and 810C, IP-54, CE Vehicle, IEC 529, and SAAB track vehicle specifications.

Three Times Brighter
The TNA1205-PS is one of the brightest mobile PCs on the market, with a 100% dimmable display that is three to five times brighter than typical notebook PCs. The unit carries a 20 GB 2.5" ATA/IDE hard drive, 8 MB 2-D and 3-D graphics accelerator for high performance graphical output, and includes SoundBlaster 16 compatible sound. A 256 KB (Pentium III) pipelined-burst SRAM L2 cache assures top-notch data transfer.
To facilitate use of nearly any peripheral, the TNA1205-PS includes two RS 232C serial ports, two USB 1.1A ports, an Ethernet 10/100 TP RJ45 port, and two PCMCIA type II slots. The PC can accommodate keyboard or PS/2 mouse as needed, and offers buzzer, microphone, CD in, and line-out stereo connections.
While many in-vehicle mounted PCs have extensive power needs that sometimes require a second car battery, the TNA105-PC operates on 9 to 36 Volts Direct Current (VDC) with optional battery-backed UPS. It also runs on AC power with use of an external supply (110/120 VAC @ 60/50 Hz) for maximum convenience and flexibility.
Exceptional Ruggedness
The TNA1205-PS is able to take nearly any kind of environment or rough use, withstanding temperature extremes of -20º C to +60º C (operating) and -30º C to +75º C (storage). It performs amid humidity extremes of 10 to 95% RH (non-condensing) and carries vibration specifications of 5 to 500 Hz/4.5 g RMS (three hours, non-rotating disks) as well as shock specs of 30 g for 11ms (non-rotating disks). Appropriate for all vehicles, the TNA1205-PS fits a variety of airbag-compliant mounting assemblies.
